The new release introduces the option to install Personal Knowbase on any portable
media, such as USB drives. Users can now carry their information with them and
access it from any Windows computer.

Personal Knowbase is an application for capturing and organizing text information.
It uses a keyword-based system for tagging notes for instant access. By assigning
relevant keywords to your stored notes, you can easily find all related notes. By
filtering on keywords and other criteria, you control exactly which notes you view
at any time.

You can now install Personal Knowbase on a USB stick, memory card, or other
removable media. Plug it into any Windows computer to access your notes wherever
you go. Check facts. Record new notes. Copy information from the computer you are
using so you can take it with you. Keep your notes private with password
protection. When you unplug, no personal information or settings are left behind on
the computer.

Portability provides a solution for employees and consultants whose workplaces
prohibit the installation of new software on work computers. When Personal Knowbase
is plugged in, running on a removable drive, it provides a convenient note-keeping

When running from a removable drive, you can load Personal Knowbase data files from
